Campaign Against Vivisection & Experimentation on All Teddy Bears

THIS SCANDAL MUST STOP - NOW!!

Thousands of innocent teddy bears every year are the victims of needless and horrific experiments. We aim to bring the attention of the world to this growing scandal.

We want to see an end to the illegal trade in teddy bear organs.
We want to smash the international black market dealing of teddy bear spare parts.
We want to outlaw the unauthorised use of teddy bears in cruel - and scientifically worthless - transplant operations.

CAVEAT wants to see an immediate ban on the use of teddy bears for cosmetics testing. Our members pledge to lobby politicians worldwide until our aims are met. We also recommend:

A licensing and registration scheme for teddy bear owners, in order to prevent unscrupulous owners from selling their bears to back street labs.
The immediate closure of teddy bear farms.
Proper geriatric care homes, so that old teddy bears are not just dumped or discarded.

CAVEAT vows to work hard for teddy bear welfare.

We agree with the findings of the recent OFFTED report on teddy bears' living conditions and want to see the report's recommendations implemented worldwide.
We want governments around the world to guarantee a living wage for teddy bears who work as models in toy brochures.
We want improvements in labour laws for bears. Teddy bears must be allowed to form proper unions.

Members of CAVEAT are committed to a program of freeing all teddy bears who have fallen into the hands of the unscrupulous labs where they are kept in tiny cramped cages for over 23 hours a day.
